Production Planning Model Validation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop, sustain, and deploy work practices and technologies to ensure optimum planning model health for accurate crude and feedstock purchasing.
• Leverage data analytics and visualization to validate models, ensuring they accurately reflect actual plant operations.
• Lead technical conversations with global manufacturing site stakeholders to implement model updates that maximize economical operations.
• Partner with Manufacturing Site Engagement Leads to identify and analyze modeling opportunities that improve molecule management and profitability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Economists, Production Planning & Optimization, and Process Engineering, to deliver profitability-focused model enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Process knowledge in either Aromatics or Olefins chemical plants (industry experience preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with internal and external customers.
• Innovative and analytical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multi-cultural global team.
• Intellectual rigor and a strong drive to lead change.
