Production Planning & Control Specialist

Responsibilities

• Create and monitor production scheduling for a plant in the EMEA region, focusing on the 0-7 day horizon.
• Coordinate production planning with external filling sites to ensure alignment between internal lines and external schedules.
• Plan consumption of special varnishes and inks and coordinate activities with relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain required finished goods stock levels to meet customer requirements while minimizing costs, adhering to Days of Sales (DOS) KPIs.
• Analyze the LineLoad planning tool monthly and report significant deviations to Production and Quality Managers.
• Participate in S&OP meetings to monitor demand and supply balance.
• Supervise and coordinate adjustments to existing designs and new design launches in conjunction with Graphics Coordinators.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of job-related experience.
• Broad training in a related field, typically acquired through secondary school or work-related experience.
• Proficiency in using computers and performing basic mathematical calculations.
• Fluency in both English and German.
• Ability to apply independent evaluation and adapt standard plant production techniques and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a plant or production environment.
• Proficiency and experience with SAP.
