Production Planning and Control Engineer

Responsibilities

• Control daily production, updating actual data and re-projecting production when necessary
• Support and provide strategies to improve metallurgical accounting team performance during daily and monthly closings
• Conduct weekly production meetings
• Develop operational planning for units to integrate mine, production, maintenance, marketing, and support areas
• Lead Integrated Planning meetings to anticipate risks
• Coordinate and cascade operational planning from the Operations Directorate across core business and support processes
• Analyze daily data to provide actionable information for decision-making
• Seek automated solutions for report generation
• Prepare routine business reports regarding productive performance and KPIs
• Create performance reporting materials, including historical data analysis and future targets for other directorates
• Perform statistical and practical analysis of areas linked to the production process
• Comply with Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures

Requirements

• Degree in Metallurgical, Chemical, or Mining Engineering
• Active CREA registration
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Intermediate English skills
• Basic Power BI knowledge
• Experience with data analysis and statistical tools
• Availability to work onsite in Barro Alto, GO
