Production Planner

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement tactical production control plans and schedules
• Monitor and update schedules using Microsoft Project and MES
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to prevent shortages
• Identify and resolve production issues, parts shortages, and resource bottlenecks
• Ensure work orders and travelers maintain 100% data integrity
• Create Line of Balance reports to ensure milestone success
• Collaborate with quality and manufacturing engineering for compliance and configuration control
• Drive daily production meetings to translate data into actionable priorities

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in production control planning
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/MES workflow
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Experience supporting MES implementation or configuration
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Familiarity with MRP (Costpoint) and PLM (Team Center)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace manufacturing
• Experience with lean manufacturing, process mapping, and continuous improvement
• Background in aerospace startups, R&D, or advanced manufacturing environments
