Production Planner

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement tactical production control plans and schedules to ensure timely delivery and efficient workflow.
• Monitor and update schedules using Microsoft Project and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to prevent material shortages.
• Identify and resolve production issues, parts shortages, and resource bottlenecks.
• Ensure 100% data integrity for all work orders and travelers to maintain traceability.
• Create Line of Balance reports to ensure milestone success.
• Collaborate with quality and manufacturing engineering to maintain compliance and configuration control.
• Drive daily production meetings to translate data into actionable priorities for work centers.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in production control planning.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/MES workflows.
• Familiarity with MRP (Costpoint) and PLM (Team Center).
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace manufacturing.
• Experience with lean manufacturing, process mapping, and continuous improvement.
• Background in aerospace startups, R&D, or advanced manufacturing environments.
• Experience supporting MES implementation or user support.
