About the role
Responsibilities
- Create and manage feasible Master Production Schedules (MPS) and Detailed Production Schedules (DPS)
- Coordinate buffer and supermarket stocks using Demand Driven Materials Requirement Planning (DDMRP) principles
- Manage planning-related master data in close coordination with Enterprise Information Management (EIM)
- Develop Material Requirements Plans (MRP) in collaboration with Operational Buyers to ensure efficient procurement
- Issue production schedules to the shop floor and lead regular planning meetings with Operations Management
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for planning processes and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Resolve production order and material-related issues through technical troubleshooting and negotiation
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience with vocational education in industrial, manufacturing, or production engineering (Bachelor's degree may waive experience requirement)
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing principles, materials requirements planning (MRP), and supply chain management
- Proficiency in root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience with master data management and cost-benefit analysis
- Ability to work onsite in Latham, NY
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering, Operations Management, or Supply Chain Management
- Lean Six Sigma certification
