Production Planner

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on material, labor, and machine capacity
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to prevent shortages or overstocking
• Utilize Oracle E1 MRP system to ensure component availability for production schedules
• Secure and negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery times with suppliers and track purchase orders
• Collaborate with sales and manufacturing departments to align production with customer demand
• Generate performance reports and KPIs for management
• Identify bottlenecks and apply lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, purchasing, or materials management
• Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or NAV
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and supply chain principles
• Ability to analyze large datasets for demand forecasting
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, or engineering preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or similar ASCM certification
