Production Planner

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain capacity models for headcount, equipment, and facilities across multiple labs
• Create daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules aligned to production goals
• Monitor shift-level execution against plan and highlight deviations
• Partner with Lab Operations leaders to realign WIP and production priorities
• Track and report KPIs including QCDS, schedule adherence, cycle time, and OEE
• Analyze data across platforms like SQL, Qlikview, PowerBI, and LIMS to uncover bottlenecks
• Establish and manage escalation pathways for delayed or problematic samples
• Lead cross-departmental team meetings

Requirements

• BS/BA/MBA degree in Biological Sciences, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or related field
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in production scheduling, capacity planning, or operations management
• Proficiency in MES, ERP/MRP, LIMS, SQL, and advanced Excel
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with LIMS and SQL queries
• Data visualization experience in Tableau, QuickSight, or PowerBI
• Manufacturing or Engineering experience
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma concepts and tools
