Production Planner Intern

Responsibilities

• Support the planning team in developing and maintaining production schedules based on customer demand, material availability, and manufacturing capacity
• Work directly in INFOR to analyze production plans and validate that orders align with actual production requirements and customer demand
• Assist with capacity and material availability analysis to help identify planning constraints
• Participate in cross-functional planning meetings with Production, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams
• Support continuous improvement initiatives including Kanban systems, visual management, and data accuracy projects
• Perform Excel-based analysis to track, compare, and reconcile production data to support planning decisions and team reporting

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel; data analysis or reporting experience is an asset
• Exposure to ERP or MRP systems is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment
• Demonstrated career ambition with a track record of growth and increasing responsibility
