Production Planner III

Responsibilities

• Execute MRP in an SAP environment to ensure timely supply of products and services
• Maintain mid and long-term production plans for the Richmond Chemical Plant
• Establish and maintain finite production schedules to optimize facility workflow
• Monitor daily exceptions, analyze inventory trends, and resolve routine and non-routine issues
• Identify safety stocks, optimum batch sizes, and process capacity/efficiency
• Analyze and disposition excess and obsolete materials
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a global, multi-tiered matrix organization

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Product Supply Management, or a related discipline
• 6+ years of experience in Planning and Scheduling within a LEAN Manufacturing environment
• In-depth experience with production planning and detailed scheduling within an ERP system
• Proficiency in SAP (highly desirable)
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
• Thorough understanding of Routings and Bills of Material (BOM)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written formats

Preferred Qualifications

• APICS CPIM certification
• Experience with Continuous Improvement processes and projects
