Production Planner II

Responsibilities

• Analyze demand, forecast changes, and backorders to develop production plans aligned with customer requirements
• Translate demand signals into actionable production plans and collaborate with Production Scheduling to ensure execution
• Monitor material availability, capacity constraints, and inventory levels to proactively identify and resolve risks
• Evaluate scheduling scenarios and recommend prioritization decisions to ensure on-time delivery and optimal resource utilization
• Drive data accuracy and planning integrity through SAP (MRP, BOMs, routings) and support continuous improvement in planning processes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• 3–5 years of experience in production planning, supply planning, or demand planning within a manufacturing environment
• Proven experience analyzing demand, inventory, and capacity to develop actionable production plans
• Experience working closely with production scheduling and operations teams to ensure execution of plans
• Familiarity with managing backorders, prioritization, and service level performance

Preferred Qualifications

• APICS CPIM certification
