Production Planner

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production plans based on customer demand, forecast data, material readiness, and manufacturing capacity
• Review customer orders and demand signals to validate production requirements and alignment with lead times
• Collaborate with Production, Fabrication, and Engineering teams to ensure plan feasibility
• Utilize ERP systems (INFOR preferred) to analyze demand and support manufacturing execution
• Analyze labor, equipment, and material capacity to identify constraints
• Partner with Supply Chain and Materials Planning to ensure material strategies support production plans
• Identify opportunities to improve planning accuracy and reduce lead times
• Contribute to lean manufacturing initiatives such as Kanban and visual management
• Act as a key planning liaison between production, materials, supply chain, engineering, and customer service

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• 3–7 years of experience in production or manufacturing planning
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (INFOR preferred)
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills
• Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and capacity planning
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
