About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to meet customer demand.
  • Create work packages from the 1PS and manage labor hours against capacity.
  • Sequence production orders in collaboration with Material Planners to maximize throughput and skillset utilization.
  • Adjust schedules in response to material shortages, machine downtime, or operational disruptions.
  • Analyze production capacity, identify bottlenecks, and recommend workflow improvements to optimize flow.
  • Coordinate with Material Planning, Purchasing, and Inventory teams to ensure raw material availability.
  • Monitor production performance and generate KPI reports to drive continuous improvement.
  • Spend a majority of time in the lab/operations to ensure schedule attainment.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, or Operations Management.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in production scheduling, planning, manufacturing, or supply chain.
  • Eligibility for CGP and CSP security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or JD Edwards.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and forecasting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and make decisions under pressure.
