Production Planner I

Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing, updating, and maintaining production schedules based on material availability and capacity
• Create, release, and maintain work orders in ERP/MRP systems such as SAP or PeopleSoft
• Monitor material status and collaborate with Procurement to ensure timely component arrival
• Support daily tier meetings by preparing updates on shortages and schedule risks
• Identify and escalate production constraints including shortages and quality holds
• Maintain accurate system data for dates, quantities, and workflow status
• Coordinate with cross-functional partners to resolve manufacturing flow issues
• Support inventory accuracy through material tracking and reconciliation
• Contribute to continuous improvement in planning processes and material control

Requirements

• 1+ year experience in manufacturing or supply chain support
• Working knowledge of production workflows and material planning concepts
• Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems (SAP, PeopleSoft, or similar)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate data
• Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
• Must be a US Citizen

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field
• Experience in inventory control or material coordination
• Foundational understanding of procurement and logistics
• APICS/CPIM coursework or certification
