Production Planner I

Responsibilities

• Organize global demand and optimize packaging production schedules to ensure efficient execution of the production plan
• Maintain and establish production schedules using ERP systems or manual Kanban with input from Production, Purchasing, and Quality Control
• Collaborate with Supply Assurance buyers to prevent material shortages and ensure optimal production flow
• Utilize SAP MRP and finite scheduling tools to improve schedule adherence, optimize capacity, and balance inventory
• Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) including yields, scrap, and product lifecycle risks to identify constraints
• Generate and analyze data, run reports, and provide scheduling recommendations to improve workflow

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience working with ERP systems or within a Lean Manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in SAP MRP systems and production planning/scheduling expertise
• Strong data analysis skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work onsite in Irvine, California

Preferred Qualifications

• APICS CPIM certification
