Production Planner

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed production plans in coordination with assembly and purchasing teams
• Perform capacity calculations to ensure optimal production load
• Manage Sales Order (SO) lifecycles, including timely opening/closing and standard cost verification
• Coordinate material release from the warehouse to production and minimize shortages
• Re-plan production in response to deviations in capacity or material supply
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sourcing, and Engineering to provide accurate delivery commitments
• Monitor and control inventory levels, including WIP and obsolete/slow-moving stock
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to reduce lead times and increase productivity

Requirements

• Full-time Degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in production planning
• Practical experience working with MPS and MRP systems
• Proficiency with ERP systems (experience with M3 is preferred)
• Strong knowledge of MS Office tools
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility and a team-player mindset
