About the role

Responsibilities

  • Execute daily workload in the ERP system, including creating and releasing work orders
  • Prioritize production and communicate needs to staff, supervisors, and managers
  • Purchase raw materials required to support production work orders
  • Manage production lead times and collaborate with Operations Supervisors to manage capacity
  • Support the implementation of Lean principles and Kaizen activities plant-wide
  • Communicate with vendors and internal customer service to ensure order alignment
  • Support New Product Development projects and other reporting activities as directed

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency using real-time ERP/MRP systems (Oracle, SAP, or Infor experience is a plus)
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Lean manufacturing experience or certification
