Production Planner

Responsibilities

• Own the production planning process, including MPS, short-term sequencing, and capacity alignment to ensure schedule adherence.
• Act as the primary interface between ERP/SAP planning and shopfloor MES execution to ensure data accuracy and reporting discipline.
• Lead the monthly S&OP cycle by preparing scenarios and aligning demand, materials, and capacity constraints.
• Translate demand changes into executable schedules while defining priorities and freeze windows to maintain plan stability.
• Drive continuous improvement in sequencing, changeovers, and bottlenecks in collaboration with Process Engineering and Lean Manufacturing leaders.
• Coordinate with the Supply Chain team to manage material availability, shortages, and mitigation plans.
• Maintain ERP/MRP data integrity, including lead times, safety stocks, lot sizes, and BOM/routings.
• Track and lead corrective actions for key planning KPIs such as OTD/OTIF, schedule adherence, and inventory health.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or S&OP roles within manufacturing environments.
• Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems (planning modules, BOM structures, and routings).
• Proven ability to manage capacity and material constraints in dynamic environments.
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills using Excel or BI tools.
• Demonstrated experience driving schedule adherence and plan stability.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI), industrialization, and ramp-up planning.
• Background in high-mix or high-reliability manufacturing environments.
