About the role

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage the master production plan by coordinating forecasting, production scheduling, and plant operations.
  • Interface with cross-functional departments to meet customer demands and advise on potential delays or issues.
  • Analyze manufacturing capacity constraints to determine opportunities for smoothing the production plan.
  • Maintain accurate Routing and BOM data to assist in permanent data correction.
  • Monitor order flow throughout the shop and adjust schedules and routings to meet delivery deadlines.
  • Manage open-order reports and communicate schedule changes to all interested parties.
  • Assemble and deliver job packets to designated value streams and close job orders daily.
  • Support weekly and monthly cycle count goals and adjust scrap for raw materials.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in production planning within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in MS Excel and other data analysis technologies.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work across various departments.
  • Strong sense of urgency, troubleshooting skills, and the flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience with Syteline ERP.
  • Background in custom order or precision components manufacturing.
  • Experience working within Lean, Total Quality Management, or Six Sigma environments.
  • Comprehensive end-to-end supply chain knowledge.
