Production Planner

Responsibilities

• Plan and control production flow for sawing, drying, adjustment plants, and planing
• Ensure effective short-term and long-term planning
• Manage raw material deliveries, market demand, and machine availability
• Collaborate with various functions to balance customer requirements with production capacity
• Propose and develop improvements in planning processes, routines, and systems
• Follow up on production outcomes, analyze deviations, and report key performance indicators

Requirements

• Holistic view of the connections between raw materials, production, delivery, and customer needs
• Proficiency in Swedish and English, both oral and written
• Strong IT skills, particularly with the Microsoft Office suite
• Understanding of work environment and safety requirements in an industrial setting
• Structured approach with experience in creating order and routines
• Analytical mindset with good problem-solving abilities
• Flexibility to thrive in a changing environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in wood technology, production/logistics, or equivalent
• Experience in production planning, preferably within sawmills or other process industries
• Experience with planning systems or ERP
