Production Planner

Responsibilities

• Manage planning activities for new equipment, aftermarket spares, repairs, R&D, and commissioning
• Plan production orders and routings to support the master production schedule
• Process and facilitate the resolution of work-in-process drawing revisions and bill of materials changes
• Facilitate the timely resolution of nonconformities, rework, and unplanned production issues
• Act as the front-line resource for shop floor needs and expedite delayed or insufficient progress
• Coordinate resources and personnel to develop solutions for processes falling outside standard procedures

Requirements

• Experience working with ERP/MRP systems, preferably SAP
• Proficiency in reading and working with design documents, drawings, and specifications
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and industrial equipment
• Exceptional computer aptitude and technical expertise
• Ability to build strong working relationships from the shop floor to engineering and management
• Ability to balance thorough, thoughtful work with urgent, efficient execution when required
