About the role
Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery for bulk receiving, mixing, pelleting, and shipping activities
- Identify areas to optimize production performance and ensure quality and food safety standards are met
- Meet or exceed production targets and accurately record data on production orders and activities
- Execute small maintenance tasks and repair work on production equipment
- Promote safety awareness and take appropriate action regarding unsafe situations
Requirements
- 2-3 years of manufacturing experience is an asset
- Good computer skills
- Ability to work shifts (6 am - 2 pm or 2 pm - 10 pm)
- Ability to lift 25 kgs regularly
- Ability to work in environments involving noise, dust, elements, and working at heights
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills
