Production Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate processing and packaging equipment in a high-speed manufacturing environment
• Perform quality checks including metal detectors, date codes, and weight systems
• Follow Autonomous Maintenance Programs such as cleaning, inspecting, and lubricating equipment
• Operate a fork truck as required
• Adhere to all safety procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and sanitation standards

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age at the time of hire
• High School diploma or GED Certificate
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English
• Basic math and computer knowledge
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks like bending, stooping, and standing for long periods
• Flexibility to work any shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd), weekends, holidays, and overtime

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a food manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safe Quality Foods (SQF)
• Experience with Autonomous/Preventative Maintenance or Continuous Improvement
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems such as SAP/LPR
