Production Operator

Responsibilities

• Perform production tasks for straw manufacturing following standard work methods
• Monitor and adjust production processes or equipment for quality and productivity
• Test products for quality assurance and conduct basic quality tests
• Troubleshoot equipment, devices, or products by identifying root causes
• Execute basic Autonomous Maintenance (AM) operations, including Cleaning, Inspection, and Lubrication (CIL)
• Prepare and assemble materials, change film, and attach labels to products
• Pack finished goods into correct packages and place them on designated pallets
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and document anomalies via improvement tags
• Fill out digital forms and collect/weigh waste in correctly labeled containers

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Experience operating and maintaining equipment in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to read and comply with work directions, training manuals, and safety rules
• Dependable and reliable work ethic
