Production Operator

Responsibilities

• Support the safe operation of extrusion lines, slitters, granulators, and other manufacturing equipment
• Adhere to all required safety procedures and participate in Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) initiatives
• Perform routine equipment inspections, setup, and operation in accordance with standard operating procedures
• Monitor processes for leaks or abnormalities and take corrective action as required
• Conduct product sampling and QA analyses using referenced methods
• Operate material handling equipment including fork trucks and scissor lifts
• Perform troubleshooting to identify causes of production equipment and process upsets
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment through diligent housekeeping

Requirements

• High school diploma or General Education certificate (GED)
• 3-5 years of experience working in an industrial environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and maneuver up to 100 lbs
• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Associate technical degree
