Production Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate various equipment including mixing machines, laminating machines, looms, ovens, scales, and bag sealers in accordance with safety and production standards
• Review production documents to ensure products meet specific quality requirements
• Make necessary process adjustments to maintain quality specifications
• Perform general maintenance, troubleshooting, and cleaning/sanitizing of equipment
• Enter production information into computer systems
• Operate forklifts as required for site operations

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years of experience in an industrial plant environment
• Ability to stand and move throughout the facility for 8 to 12 hours per shift
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs independently and consistently throughout a shift
• Computer literacy and ability to utilize associated software
• Fluent communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Process Technology or other industrial/technical field
• 1-2 years of experience in chemical production
• Previous experience using SAP
• Previous experience in forklift operation
