Production Operator

Responsibilities

• Process materials according to production plans, quality standards, and standard operating procedures
• Operate both automated and manual production equipment
• Prepare necessary materials and tooling for production runs
• Perform periodic quality checks on equipment, processes, and products
• Identify and escalate any issues, abnormal events, or non-compliant parts to the appropriate department
• Comply with all Health and Safety regulations within the working environment
• Work within a cleanroom environment while wearing a full cleanroom suit and adhering to all related procedures

Requirements

• GCSE in Maths and English
• Excellent manual dexterity with the ability to manipulate very small parts using tweezers and other instruments
• Computer literacy with the ability to use Microsoft or Google office applications and perform basic data entry
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work strictly to quality standards and technical specifications
• Ability to work in a cleanroom environment wearing a full cleanroom suit

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of manufacturing experience
• Previous experience working within a semiconductor or consumer electronics cleanroom environment
