Production Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor equipment in a highly automated dairy production facility
• Work as part of a close-knit team to meet nightly production targets
• Follow GMP, hygiene, and OHS procedures to maintain a food-grade environment
• Complete checklists, data entry, and accurate record keeping
• Inspect product for type and quality, segregating items that do not meet standards
• Assist in the operation, dismantling, and reassembly of manufacturing equipment for production and cleaning
• Perform equipment and environmental cleaning duties, including scheduled Friday night cleans
• Report to the Nightshift Production Supervisor and collaborate with Work Area Coordinators

Requirements

• Availability to work from 10:00pm to 6:00am, Monday to Friday
• Previous experience in machine operation or food manufacturing
• Mechanically minded with a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
• Ability to use initiative and attention to detail when troubleshooting and completing documentation

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid Forklift license is highly regarded
