Production Operator

Responsibilities

• Perform final assembly, modification, and checkout of energetic ordnance weapon systems for large-scale missiles
• Operate pneumatic and manual tools to complete manufacturing tasks
• Work with various computer systems and applications to support production
• Follow all documented processes, procedures, and work instructions strictly
• Maintain a high level of safety and attention to detail while working with explosive items
• Report production problems to management and support staff to ensure operational continuity
• Participate in required production meetings and complete all necessary training

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED) or vocational/technical education
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience in assembly, manufacturing, or operations
• U.S. citizenship is required to be eligible for a security clearance
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance (Secret level)

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in assembly or a related technical field
• Experience operating forklifts, walker stackers, pallet jacks, or other loading equipment
• Existing DoD Secret or higher security clearance
• Forklift Operator Certification
