Production Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Follow all safety rules and wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Inspect raw materials, in-process products, and finished electrodes or assemblies for quality compliance
• Accurately record production data, equipment readings, and quality checks
• Identify, report, and troubleshoot basic equipment or process issues
• Operate industrial equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to transfer materials
• Perform routine cleaning and minor maintenance of machines and work areas
• Collaborate with team members, leads, and engineers to meet daily production goals

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to lift up to 25lbs and stand for long periods
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment involving noise, heat, and PPE use
• Ability to work overtime, including weekends, as required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy
• Basic math, computer, and data entry skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing roles operating automated or semi-automated equipment
• Familiarity with Human Machine Interface (HMI) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
• Experience in powder handling, chemical batch processing, mixing, roll winding, or material conveyance
