Production Operator II

Responsibilities

• Operate and troubleshoot production equipment in an industrial environment
• Perform quality inspections on finished products to ensure standards are met
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production area through regular housekeeping
• Monitor and maintain appropriate stock levels of inventory and supplies
• Assist in training and organizing associates in various production positions
• Manage material handling tasks, including the use of manual pallet jacks
• Communicate effectively with other departments regarding shift requirements and concerns

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year of experience operating and troubleshooting industrial production equipment
• Minimum 1 year of experience in production or assembly
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
• Ability to stand and walk for approximately 90% of the work shift
• Flexibility to work various shifts and overtime on weekends with short notice

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating packaging equipment
• General mechanical aptitude
• Experience working within a Lean manufacturing environment
