Production Operator

Responsibilities

• Pre-weigh production batches accurately by following shop floor instructions and process orders
• Verify materials and quantities to ensure compliance with production and quality standards
• Complete timely backflushing of materials to maintain inventory accuracy in SAP
• Operate electric and/or gas sit-down forklifts and electric reach trucks as required
• Maintain high standards of GMP, HACCP, sanitation, and workplace safety
• Push/pull drums up to 400 lbs and lift bags up to 50 lbs using proper techniques
• Work independently during off-shift hours and respond effectively to unexpected situations
• Participate actively in cross-training to support team flexibility and coverage

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and push/pull up to 400 lbs
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to navigate multiple software applications
• Forklift or industrial truck certification, or the ability to obtain certification
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, including occasional weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a pre-weigh or batch-making role
• Hands-on experience working with SAP in a manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated ability to identify process improvements and efficiencies
