Production Operator I

Responsibilities

• Operate automated production equipment including pan machines, dividers, moulders, and coating systems
• Perform primary diagnosis of machinery failures and assist in preventative maintenance
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all related equipment and work areas
• Enter production data, icing mix confirmations, and other reporting into enterprise software
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety rules, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Monitor product quality, including dough piece size, weight, speed, and icing coverage

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to follow strict production schedules and attendance policies
• Competency in operating technical machinery and following standardized procedures
• Ability to work effectively as a member of a highly functioning team

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of related production or manufacturing experience
• Technical certification (e.g., HVAC, auto maintenance/repair) or completion of 45 college credit hours
• Completion of the AIB “Science of Baking” course or equivalent military/technical training
