Production Operator

Responsibilities

• Blend and package liquid and powder chemicals in a GMP environment
• Inspect, clean, and fill drums and totes
• Load and unload tank trucks
• Draw product samples for Quality Control testing
• Operate machinery, blenders, reactors, and forklifts
• Maintain clean work areas and sanitize equipment
• Complete all paperwork and worksheets according to SOP
• Follow all company safety protocols and chemical handling procedures

Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently
• Ability to stand, sit, and climb stairs for up to 10 hours per day
• Ability to work in an un-cooled warehouse (up to 100°F)
• Ability to wear a respirator, SCBA, and other PPE
• Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights up to 50 feet
• No exposed jewelry or body piercings in GMP areas
• No contact lenses allowed due to safety concerns

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous chemical manufacturing experience
• Forklift operation experience
• Basic computer skills and MS Office knowledge
• Previous ERP experience
