About the role
Responsibilities
- Blend and package liquid and powder chemicals in a GMP environment
- Inspect, clean, and fill drums and totes
- Load and unload tank trucks
- Draw product samples for Quality Control testing
- Operate machinery, blenders, reactors, and forklifts
- Maintain clean work areas and sanitize equipment
- Complete all paperwork and worksheets according to SOP
- Follow all company safety protocols and chemical handling procedures
Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently
- Ability to stand, sit, and climb stairs for up to 10 hours per day
- Ability to work in an un-cooled warehouse (up to 100°F)
- Ability to wear a respirator, SCBA, and other PPE
- Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights up to 50 feet
- No exposed jewelry or body piercings in GMP areas
- No contact lenses allowed due to safety concerns
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous chemical manufacturing experience
- Forklift operation experience
- Basic computer skills and MS Office knowledge
- Previous ERP experience
