Production Operator - Grinding

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate blade grinding machines in a high-speed manufacturing environment
• Regulate machining by setting and adjusting controls to meet quality standards
• Utilize precision measurement equipment to ensure products meet specifications
• Troubleshoot equipment and resolve production problems, notifying supervisors when necessary
• Keep machines and work areas clean and organized
• Document all actions by completing required production and quality records

Requirements

• 2 years of prior manufacturing experience (e.g., CNC, Press, or Machine Operator)
• Ability to read and interpret instruments, gages, and blueprints
• Proficiency in basic mathematics (addition, subtraction, division, and percentages)
• Strong mechanical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions for the duration of a shift
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
