Production Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
• Monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing process and perform required quality checks
• Adhere to production schedules and collect data regarding any delays
• Maintain strict compliance with safety, quality, sanitation, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Perform equipment setup, breakdown, and basic troubleshooting
• Move products manually or using assisted devices while following food safety standards
• Maintain hygiene and housekeeping in specified work areas using 5S practices

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
• Ability to work 10-12 hour shifts
• Ability to work in a cooled sanitary environment (temperatures 45 degrees or below)
• Ability to multitask and prioritize duties in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to climb stairs, kneel, stoop, sit, and walk extensively

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to work well both individually and within a team
• Willingness to work all shifts and schedules as needed
• Experience working around loud production equipment
