Production Operator

Responsibilities

• Work safely complying with all safety, quality and sanitation policies
• Adhere to production schedules and collect data for delays
• Perform required quality checks and monitor product quality
• Operate equipment according to SOP and conduct setup/breakdown
• Notify maintenance of mechanical problems and assist with troubleshooting
• Cross-train to various positions within and outside the department
• Move products manually or with assisted devices following food safety standards
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices and 5S practices

Requirements

• Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures
• Ability to maintain hygiene and housekeeping in work areas
• Ability to work in a cooled sanitary environment (45 degrees or below)
• Ability to work around loud production equipment
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and perform physical tasks like climbing, kneeling, and walking extensively

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Ability to work well individually and within a group
• Willingness to work all shifts and schedules as needed
