Production Operator

Responsibilities

• Work safely, complying with all safety, quality and sanitation policies and procedures
• Adhere to production schedules and collect data for delays
• Perform required quality checks and monitor product quality throughout manufacturing
• Operate equipment according to SOP, including setup and breakdown
• Notify maintenance of mechanical problems and assist with basic troubleshooting
• Cross-train to various positions within and outside the department
• Move products manually or with assisted devices following food safety standards
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and 5S practices

Requirements

• Ability to work night shifts
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
• Ability to climb stairs, kneel, stoop, sit, and walk extensively during 10-12 hour shifts
• Ability to work in a cooled sanitary environment (45 degrees or below)
• Ability to work around loud production equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Ability to work well both individually and within a group
• Willingness to work all shifts/schedules as needed
