Production Operator

Responsibilities

• Follow all plant policies and practices to ensure safety, quality, service, and cost objectives are met
• Perform various quality checks and assist in the cleaning and change-over of equipment
• Maintain accurate inventory by reporting material usage, minimizing waste, and ensuring measuring devices are calibrated
• Ensure good housekeeping of all work areas
• Accurately complete all paperwork and data entry to support job tasks
• Practice safe work habits in accordance with OSHA and company-specific Health and Safety expectations

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalency
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds as needed
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and twist for extended periods (greater than 50% of the time)
• Ability to perform repetitive motions involving hands, wrists, and shoulders
• Capacity to work in an environment with occasional exposure to hazardous chemicals, fumes, and gases

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
