About the role
Responsibilities
- Set up, adjust, repair, and operate a cell of multiple Blade Welder Assembly machines
- Load and unload coils and blades to maintain planned production rates
- Check product quality and record data, making necessary adjustments to tools and parts
- Maintain clean work areas and necessary production records
- Remove slugs and process scrap as required
- Provide temporary relief for other operator-adjusters
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in high-speed machine operation
- Ability to correctly read and interpret instruments and gages
- Proficiency in basic mathematics (addition, subtraction, division, and percentages)
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- High attention to detail and quality awareness
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Formal mechanical or technical training
- Experience working with lasers or laser equipment
