Production Operator

Responsibilities

• Handle raw materials by transporting them from storage to intake stations and loading them into process equipment
• Monitor and troubleshoot packaging systems, print labels, and complete final packaging
• Monitor equipment and production process parameters, recording all conditions and actions
• Take and analyze raw material and finished good samples to determine necessary operational actions
• Perform minor maintenance tasks on equipment to ensure continuous and efficient operation
• Report any disturbances or process concerns to the Lead Operator or Shift Manager
• Safely palletize and store raw materials and finished goods

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs repetitively and move bags and containers
• Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Word and Excel, and ability to use touch screen interfaces
• Must be able to work the 2nd shift schedule (Monday - Thursday, 7:30pm – 6:30am) and be available for overtime or holidays as required

Preferred Qualifications

• 6+ months of production experience, preferably in premix, nutritional supplements, or GMP-related industries
• Experience operating forklifts (sit-down or stand-up) and electric pallet jacks
