Production Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging machine processes and ensure quality control on the production line
• Follow standard operating procedures for machine operation and setup time reduction
• Prepare the line for shift handovers to ensure seamless transitions
• Monitor and maintain health and safety compliance, hygiene, and waste targets
• Drive continuous improvement by suggesting new ideas to enhance manufacturing processes

Requirements

• Ability to work effectively within a team and make effective decisions
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with all levels across the site
• A continuous improvement mindset with a commitment to operational excellence
• Ambition and leadership potential to support Team Leaders and grow into future roles
• Ability to work a 42-hour week continental shift pattern (2 days, 2 nights, 4 days off)

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a production or manufacturing environment is beneficial but not required
