About the role
Responsibilities
- Operate packaging machine processes and ensure quality control on the production line
- Follow standard operating procedures for machine operation and setup time reduction
- Prepare the line for shift handovers to ensure seamless transitions
- Monitor and maintain health and safety compliance, hygiene, and waste targets
- Drive continuous improvement by suggesting new ideas to enhance manufacturing processes
Requirements
- Ability to work effectively within a team and make effective decisions
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with all levels across the site
- A continuous improvement mindset with a commitment to operational excellence
- Ambition and leadership potential to support Team Leaders and grow into future roles
- Ability to work a 42-hour week continental shift pattern (2 days, 2 nights, 4 days off)
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a production or manufacturing environment is beneficial but not required
