Production Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage process equipment to mix, blend, and manufacture chemical products safely and efficiently
• Load and unload liquid and dry chemical products from trucks, tankers, and railcars
• Maneuver and connect transfer hoses and climb tanks or railcars to monitor loading operations
• Operate forklifts and other industrial lift trucks to transport raw materials and finished products
• Repackage products into cylinders, drums, totes, or pails, ensuring proper labeling and storage
• Maintain accurate inventory records and shipping/receiving logs using computer programs and handheld devices
• Perform quality control sampling and ensure products meet required specifications
• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment, including immediate reporting and cleanup of spills

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or US military experience
• Ability to obtain Forklift Operator certification and demonstrate safe operation
• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow detailed instructions in English
• Basic math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
• Physical ability to lift and carry heavy materials and stand/walk for long periods (up to 95% of the day)
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders to access the top of tanks and railcars
• Willingness to work various shifts, including overtime and weekends as needed
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and E-verify
