About the role

Responsibilities

  • Safely mix, blend, and manufacture liquid and dry chemical products according to specifications.
  • Load and unload trucks, tankers, and railcars, including maneuvering transfer hoses and inspecting equipment.
  • Operate forklifts and other industrial lift trucks to transport raw materials and finished products.
  • Repackage materials into cylinders, drums, totes, and pails, ensuring proper labeling and storage.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and shipping/receiving logs using computer programs and electronic scales.
  • Perform general warehouse maintenance, including cleaning and immediate spill response.
  • Participate in safety meetings and strictly adhere to all company safety protocols and PPE requirements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or US military experience.
  • Ability to obtain Forklift Operator certification and demonstrate safe operation.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and perform physical tasks such as climbing ladders and tanks.
  • Proficiency in basic mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and follow detailed instructions in English.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including overtime and weekends as needed.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and E-verify.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in chemical operations.
  • Experience operating technology-based devices such as tablets, computers, or PLCs.
  • Ability to attain a TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Credential) card.
