Production Operator

Responsibilities

• Inspect and sort empty cylinders for filling and move them to designated storage locations
• Operate forklifts to facilitate operations, including loading and offloading pallets and vehicles
• Conduct and record daily forklift safety checks using appropriate checklists
• Participate in safety initiatives and ensure compliance with company legal requirements
• Maintain good housekeeping in the yard and support production operations to achieve DIFOT targets
• Support the Inventory Team during regular stock counts

Requirements

• Matric and/or N2 qualification
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in a production or industrial environment
• Ability to identify different cylinder gas types
• Valid forklift operating license
• Valid cylinder handling certificate
• Valid Code B driver's license
