Production Operative

Responsibilities

• Work within an assembly production area to manufacture Steel Shutter doors
• Collaborate effectively within a team environment to meet daily capacity and deadlines
• Maintain high standards of quality and follow continuous improvement processes
• Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to strict Health and Safety protocols
• Manage and maintain a clean, organized workspace using 6S principles

Requirements

• Proven experience in general assembly work using hand power tools
• Completed manual handling training
• Strong ability to perform accurate measurements
• PC literacy and proficient numerical skills
• Understanding of 6S methodology and continuous improvement
• Excellent timekeeping, attendance, and a proactive approach to learning
• Ability to work flexible hours as required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with welding or fabrication
• Previous experience working with steel products
