Production Operations Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of Operations in daily productions and operational management
• Direct daily newscasts using Ross APC
• Manage local equipment inventory and maintain television studio equipment
• Develop technical strategies to improve local performance and support news team special projects
• Oversee the production of local community and entertainment programs
• Ensure operational redundancies and synergy across all departments to maintain backup plans for all positions

Requirements

• Minimum two years of management experience in live broadcast for TV, Radio, or Digital media
• Experience producing content for on-air broadcasts and commercials
• Proficiency with technologies such as Avid, Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects, VizRT, iNews, or News Production Automation
• Bachelor’s Degree in TV Production, Communications, or Digital Media preferred
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to lift 50lbs and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, and bending for extended periods
