Production & New Product Introduction Planner

Responsibilities

• Manage product forecasts, line scheduling, capacity allocation, and material availability to ensure successful program delivery.
• Publish build plans by partnering with Industrial Engineers on production capability and constraints.
• Manage factory capacity, inventory status, and long-term forecasting in collaboration with Program Managers.
• Oversee order management, including production shipments to distribution centers and tracking material arrivals.
• Support operations through build time scheduling, bi-weekly planning meetings, and staffing/shift modeling.
• Facilitate transitions from R&D to Production, including S4 setup and product costing.
• Report on key metrics such as Weeks of Supply (WOS), financial scrap, and upcoming component changes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Supply Chain and Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in planning, scheduling, or a related manufacturing function.
• Proficiency in SAP for production control, shipping, and inventory transactions.
• Proven experience with complex planning and forecasting processes.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience using specialized software packages to create, manage, and track complex projects.
• Demonstrated business acumen and experience managing matrixed teams and stakeholders.
