Production Mechanic Post Processing

Responsibilities

• Deburring, grinding, and polishing components according to quality and drawing specifications
• Marking, labeling, and identifying components based on technical documentation
• Cleaning and final surface preparation
• Professional installation of thread inserts (e.g., Helicoils)
• Performing various pressing and joining processes including component preparation
• Manufacturing, adjusting, and repairing simple auxiliary devices (turning, milling, drilling)
• Cutting raw materials to size
• Processing and reporting production orders in the MES system
• Documenting processed orders and relevant process data
• Collaborating on the optimization of processes, workflows, and standards in post-processing
• Identifying and reporting missing materials, tools, or aids

Requirements

• Completed training as a precision mechanic, toolmaker, industrial mechanic, machining mechanic, or similar
• Experience in deburring, grinding, and polishing
• Manual post-processing of sensitive components
• Understanding of fits and surface qualities
• Experience with mechanical joining and assembly work
• Good German language skills; English skills are desirable

• Openness to new technologies such as automation, measuring tools, and software
• Ability to plan own work steps independently
