Production Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Maintain mechanical equipment and general facilities in optimal working condition within specified parameters.
• Perform necessary machine changes, including lithography and conversions, according to specifications.
• Monitor and control production processes within the assigned area to ensure efficiency.
• Report any deficiencies, breakdowns, or anomalies affecting personal or team work.
• Execute all tasks following safety, health, environmental, quality, and food defense procedures.
• Collaborate with the shift team to achieve company safety, quality, and efficiency objectives.

Requirements

• Intermediate or Higher Degree (Grado Medio o Superior) in Mechanics.
• General knowledge of manual tools.
• Knowledge of Quality (ISO 9001), Environment (ISO 14001), Occupational Risk Prevention (ISO 45001), and Food Safety (ISO 22000 / FSSC 22000) procedures.
• Basic proficiency in Office software.
• Intermediate level of English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of alignment and tolerances.
• Basic knowledge of pneumatics.
• Experience with machine tools (lathe, milling machine, grinder, etc.) and welding.
• Familiarity with specific machinery and production processes within the area.
